Mike Cripps - Finance Director

Mike joined pancredit in April 2001. His association with the company actually stretches back to the foundation of pancredit in 1988, when as Acting Finance Director, he helped founder Peter Constance construct the original business plan.

A certified accountant, Mike was previously Chief Accountant at Hays Chemicals, Finance Director of Coates Viyella's yarns division and Managing Director of one of Coates Viyella's dye houses with responsibility for a £10m turnover. Leaving the textile giant in late 1999, Mike began working freelance for a variety of companies until he was approached by Peter Constance about the possibility of returning to pancredit. His remit includes responsibility not just for Finance but also the Quality and Testing processes within the company and the Administration and Human Resources departments.

When not hard at work, Mike is a keen sports fan, notably West Ham and the Leeds Rhinos Rugby Club. He also enjoys fell walking, is a school governor and is a dab hand at performing magic tricks at children's parties!
